October 18, 2004 - $10,000 GRANT FROM KENNETH AND HARLE MONTGOMERY FOUNDATION

The Kenneth and Harle Montgomery Foundation, based in Chicago IL, has made a $10,000 gift to the Center.  The funds will be used in conjunction with an earlier gift from Sterling and Harriette Stuckey made in honor of Sterling's mother, Elma Stuckey, and great aunt, Vivian E. John Cook.  Both gifts will go to refurbishing two studies now named for Elma and Vivian.  The refurbishment is planned for summer 2005.

October 11, 2004 - $4,000,000 ANNENBERG GRANT TO CASBS

The Center for Advanced Study in the Behavioral Sciences in Stanford, California, has announced receipt of a grant of $4 million from the Annenberg Foundation.

September 15, 2004 - BRANDT APPOINTED ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR, CASBS

The Center for Advanced Study in the Behavioral Sciences (CASBS) has announced the appointment of Cynthia Brandt, former director of development at CASBS, to the position of associate director.
