Endowment Gifts
How can you help center fellows find answers to the challenging questions of our era? Join our effort to raise $10 million in unrestricted endowment funds — strengthening our long-term financial base, supporting the breakthrough work of our fellows, and advancing the goals of The Stanford Challenge. Through the Stanford-center partnership, priority giving opportunities are made possible at price points comparable to those across the university where matching funds are available. Gifts of $1 million or more leverage Stanford partnership funds on a 1:1 basis. Gifts from $250,000 to $999,999 will leverage Stanford partnership funds on a 1:2 basis. Key funding needs include:

Annual Gifts
Honor the CASBS Fellowship experience with an annual gift today.  Yearly gifts are instrumental -- providing a flexible source of current-use dollars that support our fellows and helping to keep the Center strong and well positioned to play its historically vital role in higher education.

Today, annual gifts of $1,000 and above are celebrated and recognized with an engraved brick featuring a donor's personal message.

Planned Gifts
The center’s Live Oak Society recognizes the growing number of friends who have included us in their estate plans through a bequest or a life income gift, such as a charitable remainder trust or gift annuity. By making the center part of your legacy, you help sustain our center’s fellowship experience for generations to come. You will also have the option of being recognized in Stanford’s Founding Grant Society which offers special events in various cities for its members, including music performances, lectures by top scholars and conferences on management of charitable trust and endowment investments. The Stanford Office of Planned Giving can help you explore opportunities that meet your philanthropic and financial goals.  More Details  >>

Contributing to the Center and The Stanford Challenge
Our center’s mission is perfectly aligned with Stanford University’s vision of seeking solutions to some of the world’s most pressing problems. This vision informs the fundraising goals of Stanford’s current university-wide campaign, The Stanford Challenge. Cross-pollinating collaborations like we offer are rare at most universities, but they take place every day, year after year, at our center. Raising support to foster and sustain such collaborations is at the heart of The Stanford Challenge. And Stanford-affiliated donors may be interested to know that all gifts and pledges made to the center by December 31, 2011 will count towards the university’s campaign.
