Collaborative Ventures
Summer Workshops

The Center’s Collaborative Ventures Summer Workshops program was initiated in 2009 to advance scholarship at the frontiers of interdisciplinary research.

Collaborative Ventures builds upon our residential fellows program and offers an opportunity for small multidisciplinary teams to utilize the Center's programs and facilities.  The Center hosts teams of five to ten scholars for a residential summer workshop of up to two weeks in duration.  We provide travel expenses, meeting space, lodging and lunches at the Center and modest support services during the workshop period.  The task of each workshop is to design a multi-year effort for advancing knowledge in a significant interdisciplinary research area.

The Center’s Collaborative Ventures summer workshops application process is currently on hold while funding sources are identified for 2011 and beyond.
