John Bates Clark Medal in Economics

This prize was established in 1947 by the American Economic Association to recognize the nation’s most outstanding economist under age 40. It is awarded every two years. Of the 29 recipients of this award, all have at some time been approved for a Center fellowship and ten recipients have been Fellows.
