The Center is located on a hill overlooking the main campus
of Stanford University to the east. It sits at the summit of Alta Road,
which lies off Junipero Serra Boulevard. Junipero Serra Boulevard forms
the western perimeter of the main Stanford campus and accordingly runs
between the Center and Stanford. The northern perimeter of Stanford is
Sand Hill Road. The eastern perimeter is El Camino Real. The southern
perimeter is Stanford Avenue.
Visitors can travel in a square around the
campus clockwise or counterclockwise mostly along these perimeter
roads, except for a small leg on Santa Cruz Avenue between Sand Hill
and Junipero Serra. You can also travel across campus using Palm Drive
from the east and Campus Drive from the west. Campus Drive intersects
Junipero Serra Boulevard just down the hill from the Center. The free
Marguerite shuttle serves the campus, the Center, and to an extent the
surrounding neighborhoods.
Parking
There is a small parking lot available at the Center at no charge. Most
of Stanford University requires permits for parking, so we are unique
in this aspect. The entrance to our Center is gated, but open Monday -
Friday, 6:30am - 6:30pm.
